Get fast answers when you need them most with our on-site laboratory at Advanced Urgent Care of Pasadena. Whether you’re feeling unwell, experiencing unexplained symptoms, or need lab work for employment or school, we’re here to help—no need to visit a separate lab for sample collection. We offer convenient blood tests in Pasadena as part of our comprehensive urgent care services.
Quick Lab Services, All in One Visit
Our urgent care center provides convenient, in-house phlebotomy and rapid diagnostic testing. That means we collect your samples right here—whether it’s blood, urine, swabs, or cultures—and send them out for specialized analysis.
We perform rapid tests and urine dips in-house, which allows for faster answers. For other tests—such as blood panels, cultures, and swabs—we draw or collect samples on-site and send them to trusted external laboratories for processing. This combination of in-house capabilities and efficient external partnerships allows us to provide you with accurate results as quickly as possible.

At Advanced Urgent Care of Pasadena, our on-site laboratory provides fast, accurate, and comprehensive diagnostic services. This allows you to receive essential testing and many results during your visit, enabling our providers to diagnose conditions, begin treatment, and monitor your health more efficiently. Whether you’re here for a routine exam or addressing a specific concern, our in-house lab saves you time and eliminates the need to visit an outside facility.
Below are some of the most common lab services we perform:
- Laboratory Testing: Our lab services cover an extensive range of diagnostic tests to help uncover potential health issues early. Whether it’s a complete blood count (CBC), metabolic panel, hormone evaluation, or screening for infections, we perform many tests right here in our facility. This on-site capability supports quicker insights into your health, allowing our medical team to diagnose conditions, monitor ongoing concerns, and guide treatment—all during your visit.
- Blood Testing: We provide on-site blood tests in Pasadena for both general health screenings and specific medical concerns. These tests can uncover issues such as thyroid disorders, anemia, elevated cholesterol, blood sugar irregularities, infections, and potential organ-related problems. They’re also useful in assessing immune function and detecting nutritional gaps. With in-clinic sample collection and processing, we reduce wait times and help deliver clearer answers—especially when symptoms are unclear or need immediate attention.
- Urine Testing: Urine analysis is a quick and painless way to evaluate your health and identify potential issues. It’s commonly used to detect urinary tract infections, monitor kidney health, screen for diabetes, and check for substances such as drugs. These tests can also reveal signs of liver strain and metabolic irregularities. By processing samples at our clinic, we provide fast, dependable results—helping our team make timely care decisions without sending you to an outside lab.
- On-Site Phlebotomy: Our skilled phlebotomy team provides comfortable, efficient blood draws right here in our clinic. Using up-to-date, hygienic techniques, our certified staff ensures your experience is quick and low-stress. Whether you need lab work for a checkup or a more urgent medical concern, having blood drawn on-site saves you time and removes the inconvenience of traveling to another facility.
